Struggling with context loss after interruptions

Post Content

I’ve been out of work for a few months and recently started paying closer attention to how ADHD affects my workflow. I’ve been learning systems architecture, Python, and full stack development. As my projects grow, I’m noticing how hard it is to resume after interruptions. Even short breaks can mean spending a lot of time reconstructing what I was doing and why. My desktop fills up with markdown files, git branches, and half-finished notes. The complexity grows faster than I can keep it organized. For those who struggle with interruption-related context loss, what practical systems or habits have helped you resume faster without adding extra overhead? I’m looking for something sustainable, not perfect.
