Hypothetical question about being functional in the morning

Post Content

I have a hard time getting up in the mornings, I usually don't feel great and I feel slow in the morning. I just read that most ADHD meds take over an hour to kick in. That means for most people their meds might not kick in until after they arrive in the office (probably late, and looking and feeling chaotic which isn't great) For those of you that need your executive function skills to kick in first thing in the morning what is your strategy for being timely early in the morning? I assume most people take meds in the morning but does anyone do it the night before? Or is that crazy??? Please note, I'm not diagnosed yet but it runs in the family and I have my first diagnostic checkup this month because I think I have ADHD. Mornings are hard for me.
