Pre-Authorization Wows

I was given a 1 month free sample Zepbound. Started 1st dose 3 weeks ago. Have lost 9 pounds. Took 3rd dose today. I have also been diagnosed with MILD obstructive sleep apnea and have been on CPAP for going on a year. I just got a denial letter in the mail from my insurance blue shield pers gold ppo, indicating my PCP can submit additional info. I have an appt today but believe it will be denied bc I don’t have mod to severe OSA. Again, AI, suggested I get a copy of my sleep apnea rpt -I did- and provided me with phrases my PCP should use to include my comorbesities. My sleep specialist paperwork indicates I am obese. Now, I am worried I will be on the free sample and then be on NOTHING bc my insurance will more than likely deny again 😬😬
