Flu B
Post Content
39/M. 215 LBS. 6’0”. Yesterday, I wasn’t feeling great. It was my first day of symptoms. I had a low grade fever 99.2-99.8, cold fingertips, dry mouth, fatigue, runny nose, and dark and nasty drainage in my throat. I took a Binax Covid/Flu at home test and I had a light red line indicating positive for Flu B. I have now had Flu 4 times in one year. Flu A in January of 2025 and Flu B in May of 25’, November of 25’, and February of 25’. When I woke up this morning I decided to retest. This time, my Binax test shows Negative for everything. I believe I got a good sample. I don’t know if I have Flu B or not. I feel kind of sick but not as bad as when I had Flu the other 3 times this past year. Any thoughts? I took Tamiflu the previous times I had flu but I haven’t yet this time as I don’t feel as bad. Should I retest again tonight? Thanks. PS. My wife’s 24 weeks pregnant so I am quarantined right now.
