Hair Transplant vs. Hair System - Please give me some advice

Post Content

Hi, im a 25 y/o male and i already have pretty significant hair loss. My hair line is going back a lot and im loosing hair on the top of the head and weirdly on the sides too. I went to my general practitioner and a dermatologist and both said i have androgenetic alopecia but both were not sure why im also loosing hair on the sides. A Vitamin D deficiency was found but im now taking vitamin D for over a year already without it getting better. I had to do an buzz cut in the meantime but thats also not looking very good because i have a big forehead and the hair line is already very high. Because Im struggling a lot with this i decided to book an hair transplant for the end of this month but im not sure if i should really do it. My main concern is that i dont want to take Fin for the rest of my life since the possible side effects dont seem to be worth it for me. Also im not sure if the hair transplant is looking good while my hair is thinning on the sides. The clinic told me i dont really have to take Fin and can just come for a 2nd transplant after some years if needed, and that satisfied me back then but now im reading everywhere that a transplant isnt worth it without taking meds afterwards. And that seems plausible. Now im asking myself if i should cancel the surgery and rather go for an hair system. They can look pretty realistic and i wouldnt have to deal with surgery and meds. My concern is that my hair would be to thin on the sides for this and i dont know how people would react to a system because it seems like a transplant is broadly accepted as somewhat normal nowadays but im not sure about a hair system. I would be very happy for any advice you can give me, because im feeling so overwhelmed with this sitatuion right now and i have not idea what to do. Thank you so much! :)
