Most expensive part of my weight loss journey is hiring a personal trainer 2x a week. It is also so worth it.

I had some shoulder limitations post injury. However, how would it translate to lifts I would not know. The trainer took my medical reports and made a plan around it. I had some ankle mobility limitations I did not know about (how often are you thinking about your ankle range of motion). Doing some lifts would be really unhealthy. If I was on my own, I would just be trying to copy technique from YouTube clips, hurting myself. The trainer pushes you more than you can push yourself. When I am lifting on my own, my t-shirt gets sweaty by 45 minute mark. When coached, by 15. Trainer keeps logs, sees when to overload, or when to deload. I consult individual training sessions, what lifts should I hit myself. I am having good progress. After 4 months, I am noticeably more muscular. I thought this progress would take a year. People comment. I see it in comparison photos. Caveat: you need to get a professional, not a gymbro in need of extra income.
