Metformin and Depression/anxiety

Hi all! Just about 5 weeks into my metformin journey for insulin resistance and I am finding myself having some pretty severe panic attacks that I’ve never had before. I had a blood clot back in July that I had to take blood thinners for for 6 months and recently stopped the blood thinners. I also take an antidepressant but over the last few weeks, I’ve had increased anxiety, I get hot and flushed and panic. Haven’t found anything recent in this sub about it so wanted to see others experience. All my other hormones tested within normal range except my insulin was high so that’s why I started metformin. Any insight would be appreciated. Thanks all!!
