Are stomach issues a thing ?

Post Content

I’ve (21F) been on Mounjaro for a couple of months now. I took 2.5mg all of November with 15u of Lantus and then in December got moved to 5mg with 15u of Lantus. He took me off the Lantus because I was dropping too low but 5mg wouldn’t keep me stable all day/week so he moved me to 10mg for January. Around the second week of January I had light stomach issues but I thought it was from nerves after finding out my grandmother passed. BUT NO. I had some taco soup (chili basically) one night and then I had it again for lunch the next day. When I went to the gym I had burps that smelled like throw up (which I now learned are sulfur burps). I rush home, because I feel sick. I throw up and I have a diarrhea episode. Maybe a week later around 6pm I go to my cousins house and we had red beans and rice. Over there my uncle was kind enough to give me some leftover rib tips he made( which I usually love). I ate the food and some ribs but when I drove home my back was killing me and that whole night and I had another diarrhea episode, along with those burps but this one was the worst of all. The next day I was still throwing up rib tips and red beans and rice. At work I was fine all day until I had a 4 pack of Oreos. I went home and threw that up. I also had sulfur burps again. Before my dentist appointment yesterday I needed to eat before my procedure, and I had bacon (around 3pc), hash browns and eggs. Driving there I got sulfur burps again. And they lasted all day. That night I had a 1/4 of a Publix turkey sub and I had another episode but it wasn’t that bad. This morning I had another episode. Not as bad as the night with red beans and rice. My doctor lowered me to 7.5mg. He said I should do fine because I responded well to the 5mg. Is the 10mg still in my system?! Im going crazy I don’t want to be glued to a toilet. Is it a case of I can’t have pork or beans ? Or is this a bigger problem. I don’t want this to be my gallbladder. Pls help!
