I underestimated Semaglutide
Post Content
I honestly didn’t expect much from Sema. I had been on Tirz before and lost a decent amount (started around 218, got down to \~185 over a few months). Took a break, regained about 8–10 lbs, and decided to try Semaglutide instead of jumping back to Tirz. Started at 0.25mg, felt basically nothing for 4 weeks. Went to 0.5mg, still nothing dramatic. Appetite was slightly lower but not the “wow” feeling I had on Tirz. By the time I hit 1mg, I had pretty much decided it was weaker. Then around week 10–12, something shifted. It wasn’t loud suppression, just consistency. I wasn’t obsessing about food, I wasn’t thinking about dosing, and the scale slowly crept down. I’m back to \~182 now and it honestly feels more sustainable than my first run on Tirz. It just never had that dramatic early phase, so I assumed it wasn’t doing much. Anyone else misjudge Semaglutide early on?
