The Myth that being rich and having access to procedures means perfect skin.. i was wrong

So guys i genuinely grew up believing rich people automatically had perfect skin. Like I just assumed once you hit a certain income bracket your pores clock out and your face installs a glow filter. I used to think having money meant automatically having amazing skin like if you could afford La Mer and La Prairie your face just unlocks permanent glow mode. then i actually started meeting rich people because of myy new job and they are doing EVERYTHING. Expensive creams injections and appointments that cost more than my groceries for a month… and? their skin still looks kind of tired. Slightly frozen and shiny in a way that doesn’t read healthy. Meanwhile they’re recommending a $600 moisturizer and they’ll be talking about their luxury skincare routine while their skin is kind of suffering and not the radiant goddess fantasy i expected for that price tag. It honestly reset my expectations. Money can buy procedures and luxury jars with a fancy french name but even if you have the budget you still need some actual knowledge about skincare ingredients and what works for you and what to avoid. Otherwise you’re just paying premium prices to be confused in nicer packaging.
