For those of you who went from 1.25 to 2.5mg OM did it help?

I've been on OM for a year now. While I've had some growth and stabilization to a degree, the front part (above my forehead) continues to thin and thin. Did upping the OM dosage help? Beside OM, what other drugs did you take as a DHT blocker? I unfortunately cannot tolerate spiro.
