I would love advice on energy…

Post Content

Hi fellow sisters, I would love advice. For background: I am 55, had very early menopause symptoms in my early 40s and went on HRT. Then had a hysterectomy due to crazy out of control fibroids. I had my endo (all they could see) lasered off at the same time; I sill have ovaries and cervix. The next few years were OK menopause-wise (but I had cataracts and had both lenses replace. Oh, and one hip! I am basically a cyborg now). The last 6 months I have had hot flashes over and over and over at night and have so little energy in the day that I barely leave the sofa. My wonderful dr has upped my oestrogen and added progesterone, and the hot flashes seem to be moderating. I have worked hard to lose some extra weight (BMI now 21 down from 30 after 9 months of diet) and take a daily multi vitamin plus a high dose of B12 and D (as dr said last year that they were on the low side; they are now fine; dr takes my blood every 6 months and said everything looks perfect). But I am so tired all the time. I just don’t want to stand up. Stairs daunt me. But apparently according to my dr’s blood tests I am the figure of health! I force myself to go to the gym twice a week with a trainer but I don’t do a lot else. My diet is good, I drink a little more than I should but not much. My blood pressure is 117 over 78. I would welcome absolutely any advice.
