2.5 mg —> 5mg

I went about two weeks without my usual dose of 2.5mg (Insurance changed to mail order only so I haven’t been able to get my prescription filled until today) which was great for maintaining. I was maintaining my weight for the past few months, with a few blips. I have been on Zep since December 2024 — Back in November 2025, my psych doctor removed my prescription to zepbound claiming I had an eating disorder. I gained back about 10 lbs from November-January. — I got my 2.5mg again from my primary care doctor beginning of January, which has been maintaining me at the weight I was at with gain. My doctor just upped me to 5mg after 2.5mg dose mainly and the short no zepbound period since about August, I’m hopeful it will bring me back to my goal weight before all the confusion with my prescription. I’m super frustrated that my psych doctor got to make that executive decision to remove my prescription and I gained some of the weight back. My primary care physician said to me that it goes to show that doctors are unwilling to learn more about GLP1’s. 🙄 Thanks for listening. Just needed to vent.
