Do I need to see a doctor about intestinal bloating/cramps?

Post Content

Age: 31 Weight: 177lb Medications: Olanzapine 2.5mg for about 3 years Medical history: bipolar, IBS So I've had IBS for years, but in the past it's mostly manifested as just diarrhea. For the last month or so thought I've been having gas/bloating when I wake up in the morning, and the last week or so I've been getting gas/bloating/intestinal cramps during the day and during the night as well. it's painful enough that it makes it kinda hard to focus or sleep. The gas has been a problem regardless of what I eat, and I haven't been under a lot of stress lately. My stools range in consistency from soft logs to clay/mud. Is there anything that can be done about this? should I see a doctor and see if it's anything deeper or is it probably just my IBS?
