Coming off sertraline

Post Content

I’m slowly weaning off 50mg of Sertraline. Baby dose I know but I’ve been on it since 2018 and the last time I tried to wean was 2022 and I didn’t last long. I basically feel like absolute sh\*t. I was taking 50-25-50 on alternate days for a week and the was told this was a bad idea. I think started taking 25mg everyday for about 5 days and felt even worse. So not I’m taking 37.5mg. I’m only on week 2 but oh my god I feel horrendous. Does anyone have any experience like this? I don’t remember it being this bad last time. I’m nauseous, headaches, lethargy, insomnia, irritable, and so low. I’ve no motivation or energy. I know it’s just withdrawals so want to continue coming off but my God. Someone tell me I’ll feel normal again soon 😭😭😭
