What are the best ways to remove beard shadow?

For all of my MTF folks, we all want to remove our facial hairs of course. I know there is shaving with a razor. But that beard shadow is still there. It's unpleasant to look in the mirror, and seeing it. Since razors don't help to much, I am looking for ways to remove it. What are the best ways to remove beard shadow? Also, what are your thoughts on beard shadows?
