Spironolactone

For those with AGA that have tried spironolactone and got a horrible never ending shed, did you ever recover your hair to pre-spironolactone after quitting? Im afraid it might have caused a never ending telogen effluvium and im worried sick that i will not recover my density due to my pre existing AGA please help im so desperate and im just losing it at this point. I wish i never tried to fix my hair and just let it be. It was thin but acceptable now it looks like i have hairloss that can be spotted from miles away. My wedding is in a year and im terrified i wont recover any of my lost hair by then.
