Best way to use exfoliation gloves?
Post Content
I’ve been trying to improve the keratosis pilaris on my legs for a while now, and it’s honestly my biggest insecurity. My pores and hair follicles are dark and bumpy, and no matter what I do, I can’t seem to get the smooth results I see online. I’ve been using AmLactin daily and I also have exfoliating gloves, but I feel like I’m doing something wrong. My routine is pretty much this: I soak in a hot shower for about five minutes, turn off the water, dampen the glove, and really work it over my legs in a circular motion. The problem is, I never see much skin coming off on the glove. My skin gets dry and flaky easily, so I feel like it should come off without much effort. I’ve watched so many clips where dead skin just rolls right off, and that never happens for me. After exfoliating, my skin feels dry and a bit irritated, but not smoother. I bought my gloves online after seeing amazing reviews online. Is there some trick I’m missing? Different water temperature, pressure, timing?
