Irregular periods after 1+ year w/ Liletta iud

I got my liletta iud in December of 2024 and still experience debilitating cramps every period which is annoying enough but other than that, they were pretty regular after the first couple months. I was getting my period 3 weeks after the last one ended like I have my whole life. Starting in late October, I began getting my period a week earlier than normal, so I’m basically having 2 periods a month. I saw my PCP in December and she said it shouldn’t be cause for too much concern but it’s kind of been killing me, having horrible cramps for 2 weeks every month lol and also having to buy pads more often than I ever did before. Has anyone else experienced this with liletta or with iuds in general? I made an appointment with my gyno but they couldn’t get me in until early April so I’m kind of just flying blind until then. This is my first time ever being on birth control, and I’ve had to end two pregnancies in the past, which is why I got it in the first place. I also haven’t been sexually active in about 5 months so idk. Please help lol
