Hey all, I (25M) was recently diagnosed with Stage 4 Hodgkins Lymphoma, in my spleen, lymphnodes and chestbone. I'm due to start Chemo in late February. I'm absolutely terrified, and I feel myself pushing my loved ones away, when they're trying to help me. Doctors have told me the odds are 80-20 of a total cure all going well, but those odds still seem so daunting. So I guess I'd like to ask firstly how did you all maintain hope, and optimism throughout all this? I know my mindset is the only thing I can truly control at this moment and I'm striving to be in control. Also, what should I expect with Chemo? I am on a AVBD biweekly treatment for the next 6 months. I'm mostly upset about the idea of losing my hair as its a huge part of my confidence. Finally, I'd love to hear any tips, tricks or advise you have to help put a smile on my face, or simply make my journey a little bit easier. thanks all.
