High ferritin question
Post Content
Ive been on test since 18 on and off , and recently the last couple years on trt 100mg a week ( NOW 37) . Im getting an MRI on my liver to investigate why my ferritin levels are high ( 369). Ive been told its always been on the higher end of normal. I do have chronic pain, left shoulder and right shoulder, 6mm rotator cuff tear, surgury done but the tear was left alone they didnt deem it necessary to fix while shaving the bone down and doing a pec minor release. Pain is 100% better but still there. I know chronic pain elevates ferritin but im wondering is TRt to blame ? If TRT drops levels by aprox 30% wth would i be at if I was off ? Or should I just come off all together. My MRI is to investigate for liver damage, I do have a slightly enlarged liver at the moment as well as investigating for Hemochromatosis Has anyone expirenced high ferritin while on TRT
