Finally got a diagnosis

Post Content

I finally got a doctor that listened to my issues and figured out what was going on. I wish I would have changed doctors sooner. I have felt like my hormones have been off since like 2016. I have issues losing weight, acne like I’m a teen, my period has a mind of its own, random black hairs that pop up on my face and my stomach (under my belly button)— a not so happy trail. 😒 & fatigue and brain fog. I was super lucky to have a few months of wegovy and I was able to lose weight. But also my body felt so good on it. Less acne. Normal 28 day cycle. More energy but not fully awake. I am 5’1 and currently 159 lbs. my starting weight was 191. I’m no longer taking wegovy cause my insurance changed so my OB and pcp made a plan. 1. High protein but not full on keto. 2. Work out as much as possible 3. Increase water 4. Metformin ER 500mg- any tips and tricks to this would be great. I’m terrified of shitting my pants on it. Since ppl talk about that a lot lol. \* also what time of day do you take it? 5. Slynd for acne and my cycle 6. Spironolactone 50MG for acne - 1 pill a day for a week then moving to 2 pills a day. I’m looking for any supplements and vitamins that might have helped you! Anything for your gut that helped balance all these medications and not feel blah whenever starting?
