Anxious about laparoscopy

Hi guys, I haven't got a laparoscopy planned yet, but I had a query for people that have already had a laparoscopy. I've never been under general anaesthetic before, but from what I've seen it can make you feel nauseous and/or vomit, I have emetophobia so the thought of throwing up after the surgery while already being stressed as it is is horrible, despite having those symptoms during my period but I digress... So I guess what I'm asking is how did you guys react to the anaesthetic after surgery? How did you feel after waking up? I'm sure the outcome of the surgery would outweigh whatever I feel physically after the surgery but I just wanted to see what people's experiences were. Thanks for reading!
