Possible prediabetes - How should I start tracking my blood sugar? (NL)

Hi everyone, I suspect I might have prediabetes, but I’m not sure. I’m a 40-year-old male with morbid obesity. I don’t exercise much(have a office job, pretty much sitting all day), and I sometimes experience what feels like hypoglycemia when I haven’t eaten in a while and then go for a walk or do something mildly active. When that happens, I get: * lightheaded * shaky * sweaty * difficulty concentrating My father and brother both have type 2 diabetes, so I know I’m at higher risk. Because of that (and my weight), I bought a glucose meter some time ago: **Accu-Chek Instant**. I now want to start measuring my blood sugar more consistently for a period of time to see what’s actually happening throughout the day. **My questions:** 1. What are the best times to measure to get a clear picture? 2. How often per day is useful without becoming obsessive? 3. Do you use a specific Android app or Excel sheet to track your numbers? I’m from the Netherlands, and we measure in **mmol/L** (a lot of templates I find online are in mg/dL and seem US-based). For example: Today at 12:00 PM I measured **5.5 mmol/L**. I had breakfast at 7:30 AM. Between 7:30 and 12:00 I didn’t eat anything except 5 small vending machine cappuccinos (the kind made with powdered milk – regular coffee from that machine is undrinkable 😅). My Accu-Chek Instant syncs via Bluetooth to the **mySugr (Android)** app. Is mySugr sufficient to get meaningful insights and trends? Or are there better apps available for tracking and analyzing data? How do you personally track and interpret your readings when you’re just starting out? Thanks in advance
