Question re Results

Post Content

Hello Everyone! I have an extremely detailed post in this group regarding my current situation but I’m not sure how to link that here. I have received the results from my vulva biopsy and posted them below. QUESTION: Should I pursue this further and be set up with someone to monitor my condition? I assume I have a diagnosis of Lichen Sclerosis at this point? The proposed course of action is to continue my Clobetasol prescription 2x daily, but I’m not sure about that frequency long term. It has been proposed to do a larger biopsy from a different location on my vulva, but should I just go ahead and get set up with a facility that is more familiar with Lichen Sclerosis? [https://imgur.com/a/xgC4xBU](https://imgur.com/a/xgC4xBU) PREVIOUS POST: Worried About Wait Time Good Morning, I went to the OBGYN and had an appointment with a CNM on December 16, 2025 with concerns regarding small white patches/plaques on my vulva. \\- One cluster above the clitoris with a rough bumpy feel (smaller than a dime) with a dot of similar texture/color close by. \\- Two white elongated spots to either side below following the inner labia down (smaller than a dime) one is raised and the other one is smooth. I have had a small amount of itching that I have always attributed to shaving or possibly an HSVII outbreak that never surfaced for the past 5-6 months. Nurse mentioned it did look like Lichen Sclerosis and scheduled me for a biopsy on the spot above the clitoris on 1/27/26 and prescribed me with estradiol to apply to areas every day for a week then taper to twice a week. I did notice slight improvement (I think) after applying for a week but since tapering it seems like the symptoms have worsened. The one above my clitoris seems rougher and the other two seem more raised with noticeable small spots, not really a line of white the way it was previously. Is this something I should be pushing to have biopsied earlier (not sure if that is pointless at this point in time) or should be looking into a facility with more availability? I’ve worried myself sick of the possibility of vulva cancer and am just not sure which direction to go. 31F HSVII positive HPV negative History of BV occurrence after period Occasional use of Acyclovir, BV antibiotics and Boric Acid. Nonsmoker Pap and bloodwork were done on 6/2/25. All normal.
