Need a little help and support

I've tried typing this out a few times, but never actually posted. Due to my neurologists office having a delay sending in my prior authorization, and my insurance being slow to process said prior auth, I have been without my preventative medication since my last dose on Dec 20th. I was due to start Ajovy Jan 17, but I am still waiting. I called insurance and the neuro, neurologist says they sent it, insurance doesn't have it but said it could take up to 30 days. Neurologist sent it over on Jan 20, so I still have time to wait. However, I am in the midst of the worst attack I've had in over a year. At this rate, I'm going to use all of my PTO for the year before the end of the month. I'm having a hell of a time articulating myself and just thanking technology for dark mode. I have tried so many things to get rid of this migraine that I don't know what else to try. I have used my rescue meds, tried OTC meds, hot shower, cold shower, ice packs, heat packs, caffeine, sodium, Gatorade, so much sleep that it caused wild ass dreams (which I could still feel the migraine through) and now my back aches a bit, I've tried walking, stretching, pickles, chips, sprite, energy drink, avoiding light as much as I can, avoiding loud sounds as much as I can, I haven't even been able to interact with my friends or watch tv for that matter. I tried drawing to pass the time, but even just the sound of pencil on paper is enough to turn my stomach. I'll be ordering McDonald's for lunch today to see if the magic coke and fries is all I needed (even though I don't like coke) but if y'all have any other advice, I would love to hear it. Or even just commiserating stories, that would be nice too.
