Finger swollen, concerning or no ?

Hey guys ! I (21F) have had eczema since I was 18. I first got it when I was working in a fast food restaurant and I assumed it was because of the harsh chemicals in the dish dishwashing station. I am now still struggling with it and have yet to be seen, but I recently made appointment, but my PCP is booked up for another two months. I’m assuming it’s eczema because it fits most of the criteria and looks like other people‘s eczema but mine is very severe or so. I have been told by other people with eczema. Today I noticed that my middle finger on my right hand could’ve bend down about halfway and I noticed that it was swollen and it feels just a bit uncomfy not necessarily numb but just weird with my new insurance. I have a 24 hour advice, nurse and she told me that I should be seen within four hours, but I feel like they kind of say that to just about everyone just so that they’re safe. My appointment in March is a new patient visit so I won’t necessarily be seen by a dermatologist either. I have bought all the creams that I have seen people say work or a majority of them and nothing seems to be working or if it does work it’ll work for a few days or a week and then my skin won’t go back to be annoyed or irritated sometimes it’s really really bad and sometimes it’s just very ugly looking, but this time is the only time my finger has ever swelled up and is very painful and just uncomfortable. I want to know what other others think and if they have anything that was caused by eczema that made them have further complications. ( I am also a hypochondriac so I get worried very easily.)
