Fed up

I’m currently in perimenopause and I am having the HARDEST time getting a dr to listen to me. My GYN put me on estradiol cream, but I had 4 yeast infections in 3 months while I was on it, so my body clearly had a problem with it. Unfortunately, after I told her that, she shrugged her shoulders and said there was nothing more she could do. I’m so frustrated because at this point not only do I have dryness I also have labial atrophy which is so painful. Worse, when I was on it I had a spark of a libido and now it’s nothing. I’m sorry this is more of a rant, but I’m so tired. I told her about how the cream helped me feel a bit better and she laughed and told me it was in my head because the estrogen cream didn’t do anything system wide in my body, it just affected vaginal lubrication. I’m fed up, and I just want to be told I’m not crazy.
