Switched from patch to gel, night sweats returned

I was on the low dose patch and switched to gel dose equivalent. I LOVE the gel. The patch was causing irritability and wouldn't stay on after workouts. But my night sweats are back since starting the gel. Has anyone made this transition and noticed some returning symptoms?
