Need advice for that 80% thing

Post Content

So I just realised something. Like so many of us I have difficulties finishing tasks. For things like dishes it’s „easy“ for me to fix that, because I make myself check the surroundings to see if there’s anything left. I also have trouble eating regularly, to the point where I’m pretty much prediabetic because I can’t stick to a meal routine. Now, what I often do is prepare food, set it in front/ next to me, and not eat it. I simply forget. And just now I realised, that the probable cause for this might be that I prepared it myself so I already pictured myself eating it. I’m also autistic so sometimes when I need to choose what to eat I literally picture the texture and taste and everything of different foods to decide. I think that reason sounds plausible. If you have different ideas, I’d be happy to hear them. And if you have tips for how I can beat that, I‘d really appreciate any help! I currently take vyvanse plus duloxetine (helps me calm down a bit and helps with being so rigid in my being from the autism) and it actually puts me in a good mood and state, like I actually messaged several friends after week and months :D so I think the medication might help me apply some tips. Thanks!
