Peri-tonsillar Abscess

Post Content

https://ibb.co/RTKzv7Q0 https://ibb.co/FbX4jWf0 35F, non-smoker, non-drinker, no daily medications. This is somewhat of an update from a post yesterday where I thought I had a severe sinus infection. Turns out it's a peri-tonsillar abscess. My PCP injected antibiotics into my thighs and told me to go to the ER if it's not improved by Sunday or I see my uvula is angled to one side. Well I checked immediately when I got home and it already is angled. So now I'm torn on whether or not I should just go to the ER. On the one hand, it's angled, which is all she said, plus I am in agony. On the other hand, I feel like it must have already been angled when she looked considering I literally just got back from the appointment, so should I use this as a baseline and only go in if it's *more* angled?
