spironolactone weight gain?

hi guys, so i’ve been on spironolactone for over 2.5 months and i’m 21F. i got prescribed it to help with my hair loss. i haven’t had too many side effects other than having to pee a lot more and having my periods come every 2 weeks (which isn’t fun lol). however this week i’ve noticed im looking a little squishy. it may just be because i’ve been drinking a lot this weekend and not eating very good/drinking water. does anyone have any input on this? did you notice weight gain on this medication? when did you start noticing weight gain?
