I got the Epidural Steroid Shot, what now?

The doctors tell me that this usually follows after the injection. But hahahaha…… the level of pain im in, i cant even describe it. Cant even walk. The nerve is so irritated it doesn’t allow me to do anything. Im a crying mess drugged up with so much oxycodone. What happens now people?? Is this actually expected/normal?
