Is my hair thinning?
Post Content
Hello, photos in comments I'm in my mid 40s and have always had super thick hair. However, I'm sure my hair has been thinning around my front hair line/sides over the last 4 or 5 years. If it is, it is progressing slowly. My hair is also turning white gradually and mostly at front/sides so I'm not sure if it is that giving am illusion. When I look at my hair line in daylight though it really does look like I can see my scalp very clearly around the front at about an inch inwards. The photo isn't justifying it even though took indoor next to window. I did have blood work done (Not hormones) a couple years ago. They said my iron/ferritin etc is all normal. Still, I decided to start taking iron, B12, Vit D and pumpkin seed oil as well as nizoral once a week so I've been doing that the past year. I did have a scalp infection in my early 20s so I had lost some hair permanently on the sides but I am sure I am able to see my scalp more clearly in those areas over the last few years than previous. Again not sure if because of the white hair there now. I have a big forehead so last think I want is it receding and looking more bigger 🤠I've also always had big sparse temple areas and have photos as a baby with that so think my natural hairline isn't helping the situation but I'm sure I can still see my scalp area then ever. I'm in the UK and I don't think I could get oral minoxidil or DHT blockers unless I go private which I cannot afford
