Can Endo affect the heart?

Post Content

Hi everyone! I'm wondering if anyone has had endometriosis and related heart issues that cardiologists couldn't diagnose? For some context, I recently had a pelvic MRI and they found stage 4 endometriosis and I'm having a laposcopy done at the end of this month. However, coinciding with this since 2020 ive had ongoing heart issues that was originally mis-diagnosed as POTS due to tachycardia, chest pain, and breathlessness (i still get these symtopms but am on a beta blocker for them). I recently saw another cardiologist who did a CT and cardiac MRI and found nothing however I do have abnormal ECG readings but essentially the cardiologist doesn't know what it could be. Now I know that my cardiac MRI came back as clean but im not sure the technician maybe knew to look out for endo sessions as I know specialists are often required for this so im not sure if that would even be a possibility? Alternatively it could be my body is under severe stress triggering my heart to behave weirdly? Im pulling at strings here but I know endometriosis is a whole body issue so im wanting to know if anyone has any similar experiences. As a side note, I also have high cholestrol but whats weird about that is I am quite strict with my diet and tend to eat low inflammatory foods so we are also unsure as to whats causing it to be elevated. Anyways thanks in advance for any advice or input!
