Has anyone experienced dizziness on non-progesterone days if cycling?

TDLR; going from 200 to 100 mg P has made me feel like I'm withdrawing from hard drugs or something... I'm 45, in peri, with regular (though shorter) cycles. After trialing the .025 dose estrogen patch for several months, then going up to .0375, I decided to stop it cold turkey in November 2025 due to weight gain, headaches and vertigo on the higher dose. I continued on the progesterone regimen my OBGYN had me on, which was 50 mg compounded days 1-14, 100 mg Prometrium days 15-28 (yes, I know compounds are frowned upon, but she thought the little extra during my follicular phase was worth it since I suffer with anxiety and it helped). However, my anxiety had started getting worse again the last couple of months, so last cycle, I decided to up my progesterone to 200 mg per day for the luteal phase. And honestly, I felt wonderful! A bit low-energy and groggy the first couple of days, then it evened out. And my tendonitis (which I thought was an E issue) improved markedly! But then I started bleeding 7 days after the P increase (day 23 of the cycle), so I tapered down to 100 mg P for my period, and then back to 50 mg last night now that the bleeding is over. And I feel AWFUL! I started getting headaches and dizziness and eye strain going from the 200 dose to the 100 dose, and today (after 50 mg last night) I feel like a useless wreck. And now I've been reading about how for some people, Progesterone withdrawal can be similar to Benzo withdrawal (which I've never taken), and I'm scared. Did I damage my brain chemistry with the higher P dose? This honestly does remind me of SSRI withdrawals when I stopped taking them in my 20s. Should I go back to 200 mg daily since I felt great on that? I should probably contact my OBGYN, I know. Just wondering if anyone else has had this type of reaction switching between P doses.
