Anyone else’s health anxiety got worse because of pulse checking / Apple Watch?

I noticed when I feel “off” I immediately check my pulse (sometimes repeatedly) or look at my watch stats. It calms me for a minute… then I get even more focused on my body and the anxiety ramps up again. If you relate: what do you check the most (pulse, BP, oxygen, breathing, etc)? And did quitting (or reducing) checking actually help you long term? (not medical advice)
