Wondering on how i can gender swap

i (20m) have always wanted to be a female, ever since grade 6 (9 years) one of my friends is taking estrogen, but i want to do a complete 180 in me. but i'm also worried about regretting it later in life. what'll be the best way i can do this? i plan on taking estrogen, and get bottom surgery afterwards (this might all take place in the next 1-3ish years) and for those who have gone through gender reassignment have any of you regretted taking it? and for those who have gone through it, what advice can you give me?
