I’m really scared of my cat dying

My cat is almost 14 years old and every time I hear or read about pets that died at 14 or younger I get really scared that my cat will die soon. I want to go on vacation for a week but I’m so scared that she’ll die while I’m gone.. (i will obviously have a pet sitter btw) any tips on how to deal with this?
