Progesterone with a peanut allergy advice please!
Post Content
I’m in the UK, currently on Evorel sequi patches. On my last HRT consultation it was changed to Evorel 100 and progesterone tablets. It was flagged at the appointment that they shouldn’t be taken with a peanut allergy, but the nurse said it states that as the product contains soya lecithin, there can be a risk with peanut allergies. Anyway, the leaflet with the tablets says not to take with a peanut allergy, and from my own research it seems all progesterone tablets are the same? I haven’t yet gone back to the doctors about this, but I was wondering if anyone has found a successful way to take progesterone with a peanut allergy and can offer any advice? One thing that was mentioned at the consultation was a mirena coil, but I tried to have one fitted a few years ago and it was so painful that they gave up trying to fit it, so that’s not really an option. Thanks in advance for any advice!
