Do weight loss pills work as good as the injectables?

I am starting weight loss pills to help me lose weight. I saw people saying that the pills do not work well and are a waste? Is this true? I don’t want to waste money on stuff that won’t work. Will it stop food noise like the injections. Will it make me full quicker like the injections?
