Possible Meniscus Tear

Post Content

I (26 F) hurt my left knee about 2 weeks ago at work when i stepped up to get into a van. I honestly was so busy that I didn't notice until I tried to bear weight and it was excruciating pain. At the time I thought my kneecap was dislocated based on the pain I was feeling. X-ray was completely normal. Now it hurts to fully straighten my knee and to bend it. There is a little inflammation (fluid?) on the lower left side of my kneecap, other than that no swelling. I got an MRI done of it but there was no report attached. My appt with my ortho dr isn't until next Thursday and I am freaking out. I know I should just wait but I would like some opinions about whether I even have a tear. I've been doing RICE and trying to go easy but it still hurts and isn't getting better. I will upload some MRI pictures in the comments. Edit: I know either way I'll be fine but this is just for peace of mind and so I can stop worrying as much.
