Any assistance would be appreciated

Hi, 🫡 My wife wrote this as a description of her eczema and what we have tried thus far, any assistance would be greatly appreciated. ========== I have been experiencing what I believe to be dyshidrotic eczema on the palms of my hands and the soles of my feet since October 2024. The flare typically begins with small, raised, water-filled blisters that resemble swollen sweat glands. These vesicles are intensely itchy and tend to cluster and spread across the affected areas. Over time, the blisters rupture, dry out, and are followed by peeling, flaking, and cracked skin. During severe episodes, the skin becomes inflamed, painful, and functionally limiting. The initial onset in October 2024 was a severe flare. By January 2025, the condition had subsided to a more manageable level, but it never fully resolved. Throughout 2025 it remained present, though tolerable. During this time, I changed multiple personal care products in an attempt to identify possible triggers, but nothing resulted in improvement. In December 2025, I experienced another severe flare-up. I consulted a doctor and was prescribed: • Phenergan • Advantan • Elocon • Prednisone • Fexofenadine The symptoms improved during treatment, but the day after completing the course, the eczema returned. In January 2026, I returned to the doctor and was prescribed: • Augmentin • Elocon • Prednisone • Fexofenadine • Phenergan Again, the symptoms improved during treatment but relapsed immediately after completing the course. Since then, the condition has remained severe and has not subsided as it did after the initial flare in early 2025. I later requested Quadriderm, which I used in combination with Epi-Derm U (10% urea cream). I have also tried several other topical creams without meaningful improvement. I wear cotton gloves at night, use protective gloves when washing dishes, and use a pure shower oil to avoid irritation. I consulted a dermatologist, who diagnosed it as “normal eczema” and stated that there is no cure, attributing it to genetics, without conducting further testing. She prescribed: • Dovate • Protopic • Prednisone She also mentioned that if these treatments fail, chronic immunosuppressive therapy may be considered. I am hesitant to complete another course of systemic corticosteroids, as previous courses only provided temporary relief and did not prevent recurrence. For additional context, I am asthmatic and was on chronic Allecet and Montair treatment from childhood. I discontinued these medications in 2019 because I was struggling with conventional eczema at the time.
