Is my dose too high?

Post Content

I’m currently on Livizux 70 mg, which is the eastern european version of Vyvanse or Elvanse, it has exactly the same ingredient, lisdexamfetamine dimesylate. In the past weeks I had a lot of problems with my medication, I lost focus, had really bad sleep and seemingly random mental breakdowns resulting in crying and panic attacks. From the first signs I already tought about this is caused more by psychological than medication problems, so I requested an appointment at my psychologist, but before that I also consulted with my psychiatrist. She raised my dose from 50 mg to 70 mg. I’ve been currently taking 70 mg for one and a half week now. In the first days my heart rate was pretty high but I was used to it, I experienced it on my first days and when I took 50 mg for the first time after 30. The first wierd experience was that I became so tired in the afternoon, that I could barely keep my eyes opened. As days passed I started to experience heavy breathing, I was not choking or anything but I constantly felt that I couldn’t breathe deep enough. With my psychologist I identified that this is caused by my mental state and since then I can manage any changes in mood and get good sleep. All in all I feel much better and Livizux is working again. However two symptoms are still occurring every day. Around 11 am each day I become really exhausted and heavy breathing comes too. I can manage tiredness with some coffee but it is not ideal together with stimulants and also makes the heavy breathing stronger for a few hours. Without coffee I loose my focus and drive, not because the meds aren’t working but because I become so tired that I barely have energy to stand up. I still have like 10 pills left from my 50 mg (and 30 mg too) and I was thinking about taking that tomorrow instead of 70 mg and see what happens. Has anyone experienced similar symptoms or has experience with too high dose? What do you suggest for me?
