Pain since Transvaginal Ultrasound

Hi everyone, on Saturday i had to get a transvaginal ultrasound for a closer look at my PCOS issues as i have not yet gotten my period after coming off of the birth control pill (over a year ago), The ultrasound showed that i have over 20 cysts on each ovary. Anyways, ever since the ultrasound i have been having intense cramping and period related symptoms. Is this normal??
