ADHD Medication in the state of MN?

Hello there. I live in MN and have been debating getting back on medication or a substitute. Problem is everywhere wants you to go into a doctor and do all the background stuff. I have done that in the past and they ultimately prescribe anti-anxiety meds and that did not work for me. I get why they need to and that people abuse it but I am approaching 40 and truly just want to try something to see if it helps. It seems like mine is getting worse as I age and my mind is in 1000 places at once and I do not want to go through all the hoops. I have had ADHD all of my life and was prescribed as a child to adderall. Any information or direction is greatly appreciated! Thank you
