Heavy periods and birth control?

Post Content

Hi there, I’m 32 years old and have been experiencing consistently heavy periods with clots. During my periods, I’ve been taking tranexamic acid to help control the flow, but I haven’t noticed much improvement. My doctor has now prescribed Leeloo Gé (ethinylestradiol + levonorgestrel) birth control for 3 months — 21 days on, followed by a 7-day break. I would like to know if anyone has used this medication and noticed any changes, especially with heavy bleeding. In the past, I tried Duphaston, but it didn’t make any difference to my cycle. I would really appreciate knowing about others experiences.
