Teva vs brand name spironolactone? Morning vs night?
Post Content
I’ve always gotten brand name meds because of InnoviCares (a program that covers the cost between generic and brand) because why not. I’m starting on 50mg spiro and then moving to 100mg in two weeks if I tolerate it well. I got my prescription from Shoppers Drug Mart and stated yesterday. I had asked for the brand name but they said they don’t carry it. This always bugs me. I know they CAN order it but it’s but it’s not mentioned as generics are more profitable for the pharmacy. Has anyone who ha been on both noticed a difference? Part 2 of my question is whether you find it better to take in the morning or at night. I pee like a fiend already (and throughout the night) and didn’t notice much difference yesterday so could take it at night. I take Wellbutrin (AM) and Pentasa (AM and PM). I also take a prenatal multi a vitamin D - derm suggests prenatal for the folic acid. Thanks all. This community is saving my life.
