Getting ready to see my PCP
Post Content
My rheumatologist doesn't listen to me, but my PCP is beyond awesome. My hands have been in swollen, achy agony with only a fraction of the strength I had before for the last 3-4 weeks. Neither Aleve nor Tylenol even make a dent, even when I take the highest dosage. Now, for the past 2 weeks, my left hand will go intermittently numb for 10-15 minutes before returning to the now-normal ache. I'd taken for granted how often I use my hands until I couldn't without a muttered F-bomb under my breath. Now that I'll have a medical practitioner listening, is there anything I might mention beyond just listing my symptoms to her? She's been there since I moved here and has helped get my med dosages adjusted, so she gets it. I just want to feel somewhat normal again.
