5–6 weeks on fluoxetine. Overall better but last 2 mornings rough. Should I be worried?

Post Content

Hey everyone, I’m around 5–6 weeks into restarting fluoxetine 20 mg and overall I’ve definitely improved compared to where I was in January. At my worst, I was constantly on Reddit looking for reassurance, Googling symptoms, barely eating, and couldn’t stop thinking about my anxiety. It basically ran my whole day. Now, I’m functioning again, eating, working, spending time with my girlfriend, and I’ve gone long stretches without even needing to come on here. So I can’t deny that things have gotten better. That said, the last two mornings have been rough. Waking up anxious, some nausea, random intrusive thoughts, and rumination. By the afternoon I usually feel more like myself again. I’m worried this means I’m backsliding or that the meds aren’t working, even though overall I’m clearly better than before. Is this normal at this stage? Did anyone else have ups and downs around this time before things leveled out
